The heated carpet incorporates a flexible graphite heating sheet (2) with two strip elements (3) at its ends, acting as electrical conductors, coupled to a current supply via respective wires (4). The heating sheet (2) lies between two opposing carpet layers which are bound together around their edges. The carpet has a switch and a potentiometer, controlling the electrical energy supplied to the heating sheet, for maintaining a constant temp. e.g. of 37 degrees celsius. USE - For providing direct heating of feet, or can be incorporated into cushion.
