<p>An object of this invention is to provide a novel cracked egg supply device suitable for mounting on an automatic device for frying egg sunny-side up interlocked with a timer. The cracked egg supply device comprises: an egg receiving plate having an egg support hole that supports the lower portion of a vertically held and supporting the egg in the vertical position with the egg partially projecting downwardly from the hole; and an egg-cracking blade driven in a direction crossing the vertical axis of the egg with respect to the egg supported by the egg receiving plate, whereby the bottom portion of the shell of the egg supported in the vertical direction is cut off in the horizontal direction by the egg cracking blade. The bottom portion of the egg supported in the vertical position is cut off in the horizontal direction, so that the cracked egg is dropped and fed to a heated receiving tray in a state where the yellow of the egg is covered by the white.</p> |
