PURPOSE: To enable the storage of filtered water within a closed environment by establishing the relationship that the water flows among an injection port, a filtration medium and an outflow port and enters a filter body and comes into contact with the filter body for a sufficient time for the satisfactory filtration to be effected. CONSTITUTION: This filter 20 is mounted in a reservoir 13 and its outer peripheral portion is a portion to supplement the reservoir 13. The filter 20 has filter bodies 21 to 24, means 68, 69 which arrange these filter bodies adjacently to the top end in the reservoir 13, a filter body which is disposed in the filter bodies passed with the water therein and is connected to the injection port 26 to the reservoir 13 and an outflow port 60 to the reservoir 13 from the filter bodies. The relationship among the injection port 26, the filer body and the outflow port 60 is so determined as to provide the contact time sufficient for the water flowing into the filter bodies through the injection port 26, which water is subjected to the filtration to a satisfactory extent with the filtration medium and is then made to flow out. Consequently, the storage of the filtered water in the closed environment is made possible. |
