PURPOSE:To provide the electric travelling car, travelling through driving force of an electric motor in which the electric motor can drive auxiliary equipment even if the motor is rotated in any directions of normal and reverse when the auxiliary equipment is also driven by the motor. CONSTITUTION:An electric travelling car, which can travel by driving force of an electric motor, is provided with a pair of rotary mechanisms 5 and 6 which rotate in the opposite directions respectively associated with a drive shaft 1a of the electric motor 1, an auxiliary equipment drive shaft 3 for driving an auxiliary equipment 4 of the electric travelling car, and coupling means 7 and 8 for detachably coupling the respective rotary mechanisms 5 and 6 to the auxiliary equipment drive shaft 3. The coupling means 7 connects the rotary mechanism 5 to the auxiliary equipment drive shaft 3 for turning the auxiliary drive shaft 3 only when the drive shaft 1a of the electric motor 1 rotates in the normal direction (shown with arrow A). The coupling means 8 connects the rotary mechanism 6 to the auxiliary equipment drive shaft 3 only when the drive shaft 1a of the motor 1 rotates in the reverse direction (shown with arrow B). Thus, the auxiliary equipment drive shaft 3 is always rotated in the same direction (shown with arrow C) even if the drive shaft 1a of the electric motor 1 rotates in any directions of normal and reverse.
