PURPOSE:To prevent with high durability the fall-off of a fixture member being fixed to, for example, a concrete wall, by mounting an expanding member to one end of a cylindrical fixture member, the one end thereof being formed with slits to make the member expandible in diameter, and driving a mounting end portion of the expanding member into a fixing hole of the wall surface and expanding the member. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of axial slits 32a are formed in one end of a cylindrical body 32 to form expandible pieces 32b. On the other hand, an expanding member 34 is formed by a base portion 34b and a regulation portion 34a so as to be fitted into the one end of the cylindrical body 32. The outer diameter of the base portion 34b is made same as the inner diameter of the body 32, and the outer diameter of the regulation portion 34a is made larger than the inner diameter, the two portions being connected together by a taper portion 34c. The expanding member 34 is fitted into the expandible-piece 32b forming end of the body 32, and the resulting body 32 is inserted into an insertion hole 10a of a concrete wall 10 from the expanding-member 34 side to cause a fore end of the expanding member 34 to abut against the bottom surface of an engaging hole 10b. Subsequently, an end portion of the body 32 projecting from the wall 10 is hammered to expand the expandible pieces 32b by the taper portion 34c of the expanding member 34 to thereby fix the fixture member to the interior of the engaging hole 10b. |
