PURPOSE:To provide a paper sheet feeding device which prohibits paper sheets feeding and enables prevention of jam creation by detecting paper sheets feeding abnormalities beforehand when the size of recording paper sheets set on the setting table is smaller than the paper sheets feedable minimum size or when the paper sheets are set in the direction where paper sheets feeding is impossible. CONSTITUTION:A detecting sensor 7 of the minimum paper sheets size to detect abnormalities where the recording paper sheets whose size is below the minimum paper sheets size capable of being fed are set on a setting table, and where the recording paper sheets are set in an abnormal direction is arranged in a paper sheets feeding device provided with a setting table 2 where the recording paper sheets are set and a feeding roller 4 which feeds the recording paper sheets on the setting table to an image-forming part or the like on the image forming device body side.
