PURPOSE:To improve an operating speed in the case of alternately repeating a change of print density and picture printing in a picture processor connecting an electrophotographic arrangement and host computer. CONSTITUTION:An apparatus is provided with a host computer 14 for transmitting a density information for updating the density characteristics of picture printing of an electrophotographic arrangement 16 in a freely variable manner together with a picture information and with the electrophotographic arrangement 16 for printing out the picture information stored beforehand in a picture memory 19 after updating the density characteristics by means of the received density information so that only a small capacity of density information can be updated while the transmission and temporary memory of a large capacity of picture information are limited to only once. |
