PURPOSE:To prevent a gate trace from appearing at the time of usage by installing a submarine gate to a molding die so as to be communicated with a surface concealed at the time of usage in the external surface of a product module cover. CONSTITUTION:A mold 11 is covered with a mold 12 and a mold 13, and a resin material for forming a module cover is injected into a cavity 14 for forming the module cover shaped by these mold 11 and molds 12, 13 through a submarine gate 15, thus forming the module cover. A molded form having single layer structure is molded through such one-color molding, the molded form is taken out, and a projection formed to the section of the submarine gate 15 is removed. Accordingly, the position of a gate trace is not viewed as the rear of the cover when the module cover is mounted to an air bag device, thus preventing the damage of the fine view of a product due to the gate trace. |
