PURPOSE:To burst largely a module cover and thereby unfold extremely easily an air bag in all orientations in the module cover of an air bag device having on the side an engaging section with a steering spoke while having teat lines for a burst. CONSTITUTION:Ends of teat lines 3, 4 are adapted to extend along engaging sections 12 respectively. A module cover 1 is molded by a one-color molding method. Thus, in the operation of an air bag device, the module cover 1 bursts along the engaging section and warps back sufficiently. Namely, since the burst reaches at least the side end edge of the upper surface of the module cover 1 in the unfolding of the air bag, the burst piece(flap) is largely deformed, so that the air bag expands rapidy largely in all orientations. Thus, soft inflation is obtained. |
