PURPOSE:To make an aroma diffused in room air to a degree not felt to be too much or too little by increasing or decreasing the emission of the aroma from an aroma-emitting device in proportion to the increase or decrease of the conditioned air supplied to an air-conditioned space. CONSTITUTION:When conditioned air is supplied to an air-conditioned space 2 at a large flow rate, the opening that a damper 42 makes for an aroma emitter 4 is enlarged so as to make the aroma from a solid aromatic 41 diffuse easily in the conditioned air. Contrarily, when conditioned air is supplied to the air-conditioned space 2 at a small flow rate, the damper 42 is made to narrow the opening in such a manner as to retard the emission of the aroma from the aromatic 41 into the conditioned air. Even when there is no change in the flow rate of the conditioned air supplied from the air conditioner 1 to the air-conditioned space 2, the strength of the aroma can be set as desired by controlling a manual setting switch 8 and the aroma in the air-conditioned space 2 can also be made stronger or weaker by adjusting the turning of the damper 42. With this setup, the concentration of an aroma can be made to suit the feeling of the occupant of the air-conditioned space 2 without being felt to be too much or too little. |
