<p>PURPOSE:To provide piping capable of being assembled easily in a compact size by fastening two joint main bodies with a common bolt, and dispensing with fastening of the bolt for packing pushing plate with respect to each joint main body. CONSTITUTION:An end 21 of a steel pipe 2 coated with resin in its inner surface is inserted together with a packing 3 into a pipe end insertion groove 11 of a pipe joint main body 1, and a packing pressing plate 4 is fastened to a fixed flange 12 at an end of the pipe joint main body 1 by means of a bolt, then a protruding end 31 from the pipe main body 1 of the packing 3 is pressed by the packing pressing plate 4. Both pipe joint main body is fastened by such a common bolt in this way, thereby dispensing with the bolt fastening work of the packing pressing plate, for each joint main body. It is thus possible to make the connection part between the pipe joint main bodies by reducing the distance between the pipe main bodies since there occurs no problem in the bolt fastening work even if the distance is reduced. Furthermore, the common bolt to be used for the connection of the pipe joint main bodies serves to reduce the number of bolts.</p> |
