<p>PURPOSE:To provide a cable layed position probing device whose number of components for probing can be reduced and which is not affected by places of probing by providing two probing inductors, and making both of the inductors horizontally movable and one rotatable, and measuring the angle between the inductors. CONSTITUTION:In a cable layed position probing device which passes a high frequency current to a cable to be probed and detects the high frequency magnetic to detect the layed position of the cable, two probing inductors 30a, 30b for detecting the high frequency magnetic field are mounted on a moving pane 1 28 which is horizontally movably installed. One of the inductors is rotatably installed and a pointer 38 for indicating the angle of rotation of that inductor and a scale 40 corresponding to the cable depth are provided and the position and the angle of rotation at which the probing inductors 30a, 30b are at their maximum sensitivity are found; the cable depth can be detected according to the angle 0 between the probing inductors 30a, 30b at that time.</p> |
