<p>PURPOSE:To conduct a test which is nearly equivalent to an actual-body test in a relatively small scale by setting a large mass and speed by using electric quantities. CONSTITUTION:After arbitrarily setting the mass and initial speed of a mass body when the mass body collides with a specimen as corresponding electric quantities, the initially held energy of the mass body is set in advance on the basis of the electric quantities. By detecting the load and displacement generated in the specimen T when the mass body collides with the specimen T and respectively feeding back the collisional energy destroyed and absorbed by the specimen T to the initially held energy as electric quantities, the residual energy at each moment is calculated. Then the collisional destruction of the specimen T is advanced by controlling the pressurizing speed of the specimen by the mass body so that the speed can be made to correspond to the residual energy.</p> |
