PURPOSE:To three-dimensionally form a character or pattern decorated by foil to the surface of a synthetic resin sheet. CONSTITUTION:Foil 4 is superposed on the surface of a synthetic resin sheet 3 and an insulating material 5 is superposed on the rear thereof and this composite is arranged between a protruding plate 1 and a recessed plate 2 to be held therebetween under pressure. When high frequency is applied to the composite in this state, the surface of the synthetic resin sheet 3 expands along the shape of the recessed stamp 2a of the recessed plate 2 to bond the foil 4 to the surface of the expanded part and a three-dimensional character or pattern whose surface is decorated by the foil 4 can be formed. |
