PURPOSE:To increase the capacity of a heat accumulator and the flow rate of a heating medium by accumulating the recovery heat of the heating medium and installing a plurality of heat accumulators to a heat accumulation which accumulates the collection heat of the heating medium and emitting the heat to a heat application side in parallel in a system which uses excess waste heat from a refuse incinerator plant or the like. CONSTITUTION:A waste heat application device recovers excess waste heat from a refuse incinerator plant by means of a heating medium 7 in a heat recovery system and uses the recovery heat of the heating medium 7 in a heat application system and accumulates the recovery heat in a heat accumulation system and emits the accumulated heat to the heat application system in a response to load fluctuations. In this case, the heat accumulation system comprises a plurality of heat accumulators 1 laid out in parallel between both headers connected to a heat medium supply pipe 3a and a heating medium discharge pipe 3d. During the heat accumulation time, changeover valves 6a and 6c are opened while changeover valves 6b and 6d are closed so that the heating medium may flow in the marked solid line so as to accumulate the heat. On the other hand, when emitting the heat, the changeover valves 6a and 6c are closed while the changeover valves 6b and 6d are opened so as to dissipate the heat as indicated by a broken line. |
