<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the deformation of a slab laying table as little as possible and to execute the stable induction heating. CONSTITUTION:The slab 2 to be heated is stood on the slab laying table 1 in the posture making one of the longitudinal side end parts the bottom surface, and at the time of heating the slab in an induction heating furnace arranging the induction heating coil so as to surround this slab 2, the side end part becoming the bottom surface of the slab 2 charged i5 the furnace is beforehand formed so as to make the central part 2a the lowest position and become a little upward as directing to both end sides 2b. After charging, the slab is heated so as to bring the position near the central part in the bottom surface of the slab into contact with the laying table 1 and so as not to bring both end part sides into contact with the laying table.</p> |
