PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of an apparatus through down-sizing and shortening of washing time by installing the first washing step in which water from a desalting tower is discharged outside the apparatus, by supplying pure water or condensate to the tower and the second washing step in which a part of water from the tower is returned to a condenser while the rest is circulated to the desalting tower. CONSTITUTION:A desalting tower is filled with a regenerated ion exchange resin in the first place. In the first washing step, pure water is supplied to the desalting tower through a pipe 4 and a lead pipe 2 to wash the ion exchange resin; the water from the tower, during washing, is discharged outside the system through a drain pipe 3 and a pipe 6. In the second washing step following the treatment in the first washing step, the supply of water is stopped and condensate from a condenser is supplied to the desalting tower 1 with a condensate pump through a pipe 5 and lead pipe 2. A part of the water from the desalting tower 1 discharged through the drain pipe 3 is returned to the condenser through a pipe 7, while the rest is circulated with a circulating pump 9 through pipes 8, 10, 5 and the charging pipe 2. |
