PURPOSE:To provide a plain bearing for inner shaft for a counter rotating propeller device which can dispose of the tilt of the inner shaft by a propeller dead weight and a fluid power acting on a propeller. CONSTITUTION:A plain bearing is equipped with an inner shaft 2 having a rear propeller 1 installed, outer shaft 4 having a front propeller 3 installed, plain bearing 5 for supporting the inner shaft which is press-fitted onto the inner peripheral surface of the outer shaft, and a plurality of orifices 7 which communicate to a outer shaft, and a plurality of orifices 7 which communicate to a hole 6 which is formed on the inner shaft for supplying the static pressure lubricating oil and supply the lubricating oil to the bearing surface, and as for the bearing surface of the plain bearing, both the edge parts in the lengthwise direction are formed to the tapered surfaces 8a and 8b spreading outward, and orifices 7a, 7b, 7c, and 7d are arranged at the part opposed to the tapered surface of the inner shaft 2. When the inner shaft 2 deflects and is inclined to the inside of the bearing 5, the tapered part spreding outward is opposed in nearly parallel or in a small tilt angle for the inclined inner shaft, and the increase of the gap between the orifice and the bearing surface is prevented, and a static pressure is generated, and the bearing load applied onto the inner shaft is supported in noncontact form. |
