Sprags 33, which engage with output shafts 11 and 12, and outer races 14 and 15 during normal and reverse rotation, are assembled into the retainers 26 and 27 arranged between the output shafts 11 and 12 which are connected to the respective side gears 8 and 9, and the outer races 14 and 15 The case 5 and both of the outer races 14 and 15 are connected to an input member, a ring gear 4, through transmission mechanisms 22 and 23 for speeding up the outer race side, and differential means 36 and 37 are connected to the retainer 27 which is used for slowing down the rotational speed with respect to that of the outer races 14 and 15. When the rotational speed of the output shaft is lower than that of the outer races, the outer races perform the over-running, and the differential function is displayed. When the rotational speed of the output shaft exceeds that of the outer races, the sprags 33 engage with the outer races and the output shafts so as to connect them directly, and the differential function is locked.
