PURPOSE:To facilitate connection of buried pipings and locate the buried position without using special parts by mounting a covering member in which a conductor wire is sealed integrally on the outer peripheral surface of the piping body made of synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:A buried piping 1 consists of a piping body 2 such as gas pipe, and a covering member 3 in which a conductor wire W is sealed and which is mounted integrally on the piping body 2. The piping body 2 is made of a synthetic resin such as polyethylene. The covering member 3 is formed by a covering part 3a in which a conductor wire W such as copper wire is sealed, and a projected part 3b, the diameter of which is formed smaller than that of the covering part 3a, and the projected part 3b is mounted on the outer peripheral surface of the piping body 2 nearly parallel to the axis-line of the piping body. After the buried piping 1 is installed in an open-cut groove, the buried piping 1 is buried by covering it with earth and sand, and when the ground is dug up, current is made across both ends of the conductor wire W to detect a generated magnetic field. |
