OIL DETERIORATION DETECTOR

PURPOSE:To decrease the reduction of detection light and raise detection accuracy and also aim at small sizing and thoughening by forming oil passage with condenser lens condensing detection light from a light source. CONSTITUTION:Oil A is supplied through an oil pipe 3e to an oil passage 3f. The infrared light projected from a light source 2 to a lens hole of an oil unit 3 passes through a lens window plate 3a, the oil A dropping in a central oil passage 31a and the lens window plate 3a, is condensed by the condensing effect of both lens window plate 3a, changed to continuous light in a chopper device 4 and received with a photodetector 5a. And an oil degradation detector 5 outputs detection signals in accordance with the infrared light received with the photodetector 5a. As the infrared light reduces in proportion to the deterioration of oil, the detection signal becomes one in accordance with the oil degradation. A display circuit 6 displays the deterioration degree of the oil by means of an indication lamp 6a.
