PURPOSE:To obtain the subject transmission shaft coupler having simple construction and capable of surely fitting a spline shaft by forming a guide pin at a part of the inner circumference of the fitting end part of an outer shaft opposite to the tip face of spline ridge and guiding the fitting of the valley part of spline of the inner shaft with the guide pin. CONSTITUTION:The objective transmission shaft coupler of a tractor working machine, etc., is composed of an outer shaft 1 having a spline on the inner circumference and an inner shaft 2 having a spline on the outer circumference to effect the spline fitting of the inner shaft to the outer shaft 1. The inner circumference 3 of the fitting end of the outer shaft 1 has a diameter nearly equal to the diameter of the valley part 7 of the spline to enable free rotation of the spline ridge 8 of the inner shaft 2. A guide pin 6 having a height and width diameter equal to those of the ridge part 4 is protruded at a part of the inner circumference 3 opposite to the tip face of the spline ridge 4 to effect the fitting and guiding of the spline valley 5 at the side of the inner shaft 2. The fitting and connection of a spline shaft coupler can smoothly and surely be performed because the fitting of the spline valley part 5 of the inner shaft 2 is guided by the guide pin 6. |
