<p>PURPOSE:To carry out automatically stage switching on holding tool positions according to a kind of a work without connecting a power line and so on to a work holding device. CONSTITUTION:Feed screws 34a and 34b to move vertically gripping claws (holding tools) 38a and 38b to grip a work are positioned by means of a positioning mechanism 64 so as not to rotate usually, and a driving device 18 connected to the feed screws 34a and 34b through connecting members 92a and 92b is also arranged on a work set station, so that its position can be fixed, and when a work holding device 14 driven in rotation by means of a rotary table 12 came to the work set station, stage switching is carried out on positions of the gripping claws 38a and 38b by means of the driving device 18 according to a kind of the work.</p> |
