PURPOSE:To provide an opacified glassy compsn. for stock of a ceramic circuit board capable of sintering at a low temp. and having a coefft. of thermal expansion close to that of silicon, a low dielectric constant and high strength, and to produce a low temp. sintered and laminated ceramic circuit board using the compsn. CONSTITUTION:This glassy compsn. consists of 1st opacified glass and 2nd opacified glass each giving glassy ceramic having a cordierite crystal phase by sintering. The 1st glass contains about 5-30wt.% magnesium oxide- aluminosilicate glass and the 2nd glass consists of zinc oxide and oxyaluminosilicate. Two or more metal conductor layers of Ag, Cu, Pd, Pt or a mixture of such metals are formed on a substrate made from is glassy compsn. while interposing an insulating layer with an electric conduction part for conducting the metallic layer of each of the conductor layers between the layers and the layers are patterned to obtain a low temp. sintered and laminated printed circuit board. |
