PURPOSE:To provide a Pb-Zr-Ti-O-based piezoelectric incorporated with Sr, Nb and Mn. CONSTITUTION:The objective piezoelectric can be obtained by incorporating (1) powder having Pb-Zr-Ti-O-based perovskite crystal structure incorporated with Sr and Nb as raw material with Mn followed by calcining in the presence of oxygen at 1150-1250 deg.C. The component I which has a mean particle diameter of <=2mum and has >=90wt.% of perovskite phase can be prepared by calcination of compounds of the respective metallic elements at 900-1000 deg.C in the presence of oxygen. By this method, this piezoelectric is not only high in density but also has high electromechanical coupling coefficient, being small in change (deterioration) with time at elevated temperatures as well as being usable for a long period of time. |
