<p>PURPOSE: To allow a food cutting device for sausage or the like to cut even soft articles into uniform cut thicknesses by forming a force lock and a form- locking drive from a toothed feed roller, placing them in the vicinity of a circular knife, engaging them with the bottom of an article during locking, and rotating them in association with the feed of a claw. CONSTITUTION: A feed roller 33 having teeth 35 on its outer periphery is provided in the vicinity of a circular knife 4, the teeth 35 engaging the bottom face of an article 1 to additionally form an article feed means and to form a force lock 7 and a form locking means. A drive gear 29 is attached to the feed roller 33 and an endless ratchet belt 25 is wound between the feed roller 33 and a rear guide roller 27. A claw track 21 is connected to the strands of the endless ratchet belt 25 via a clamp 26. Thereby a bearing housing 22 moves in the direction of the arrow 3 via the connection between the ratchet belt 25 and the claw track 21 and also drives the feed roller 33 to achieve feed or locking in association with a claw 11.</p> |
