This is a new far-IR irradiating and self cleaning coating composition used on panels of electronic ovens and ranges. The coating composition comprises: 10-20 wt.% mixed binder of a silicon resin type organic binder and inorganics such as colloidal silica or alumina, 5-20 wt.% surface modifier, 20-30 wt.% oxide catalyst, 10-30 wt.% far-IR irradiating functional filter, 20-40 wt.% electromagnetic wave absorber, 0.5-1 wt.% coupling agent, 0.5-1 wt.% anti-precipitating agent and 5-15 wt.% organic solvent. The pref. absorber which can absorb 2-10 GHz electromagnetic wave, especially 2.45 GHz, and generate heats, is one or mixed form of spinell-type Ni-Zn ferrite, Ba-ferrite, and Sr-ferrite.
