<p>PURPOSE:To provide a portable computer with a built-in floppy disk drive thin in profile thin at the time of carrying and easy to key-in at the time of use. CONSTITUTION:At a base 1, a display housing 2 is provided freely turnably up and down and the front part of a keyboard 3 is pivoted to the base 1. An FDD 4 is provided in the base 1 of the rear part of the keyboard 3, and when the display housing 2 is opened, the rear part of the keyboard 3 is raised and inclined by a cam 5 provided at the display housing 2, and between the keyboard 3 and the base, the space H in which an upper part head 15 of the FDD can be raised is formed.</p> |
