PURPOSE:To obtain an optical disk less in noise at the time of recording and reproducing of information and excellent in the characteristic of recording and reproduction of information. CONSTITUTION:The ultraviolet curing resin layer 22, on which ruggedness exhibiting control and retrieval information such as the pit 41 is transferred from a stamper, is formed on one side of a base material and thereafter, heated, softened to smoothen fine ruggedness 42 on the surface of the ultraviolet curing resin layer 22. The optical disk obtained by laminating the recording film is less in noise at the time of the recording and reproduction of the information and has excellent characteristic in recording and reproduction of the information.
