发明名称 METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING DETERIORATION OF PLASTIC ELECTRODE
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable deterioration of a plastic electrode to be diagnosed by obtaining a specific area ratio and then measuring a degree of graphitization by the laser Raman spectral method for an activated carbon fiber of an activation layer of a plastic electrode. CONSTITUTION:For evaluating a degree of deterioration of an activated carbon fiber which is used for an activated layer of plastic electrodes 5 and 6, a degree of graphitization of the activated carbon fiber is measured by the laser Raman spectral method. The activated carbon fiber is laminated on plastic electrodes 5 and 6 as a sample and the degree of carbon is compared for both of the activated carbon fiber after use by an actual zinc - bromine battery and an unused activated carbon fiber. For example, a peak area of 1355cm<-1> and 1580cm<-1> within a laser Raman spectrum as an evaluation of the degree of carbon is obtained and the degree of carbon is expressed by an area ratio which is obtained by dividing the peak area of 1355cm<1> by that of 1580cm<1> The smaller the value is, the higher the degree of carbon.
