The device is constituted by a polychromator having a means for receiving a wide spectral-band polychromatic light signal, a diffraction device producing a spatial spread of the signal as a function of its wavelength spectrum and a plurality of means 32 for receiving the signal coming from the diffraction device in the form of a plurality of narrow spectral-width signals. The means 32, 33 for receiving the narrow spectral-width signals are constituted by a plurality of photodiodes which are placed in an adjacent manner, each including a sensitive surface 32 making it possible to receive a perfectly defined narrow spectral-width signal. <IMAGE> |
