The photomagnetic recording medium is produced by coating a first dielectric film (1) of 900 angstroms composed of SiCN:H on the polycarbonate substrate by the sputtering method, coating a recording film (2) of 300 angstroms composed of Tb-Fe-Co on the film (1), coating a second dielectric film (3) of 350 angstroms composed of SiCN:H on the film (3), and coating an aluminium reflecting film (4) of 600 angstroms on the film (3). The photomagnetic recording medium has an improved conservation life. |
