PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption of a radio telephone system in its waiting state. CONSTITUTION:Supply of power to an LCD driving part 502 which drives a liquid crystal display device 452, is cut if an incoming call or the key input is not confirmed for a prescribed time. Then, the supply of power to an LCD control part 501 which transfers the data to the part 502, is cut if no incoming call nor key input is confirmed for a fixed time after supply of power to the part 502 is cut. Thereafter the supply of power is started again to both parts 502 and 501 when an incoming call or the key input is confirmed. |
