The present invention relates to the making of a food whisk. The end parts (24) of the loops (6) of the whisk (1) run through holes (21) in an end part (5) of the whisk and are anchored away from the loops proper (6) in a material (26) forming the handle (2). Forces, especially bending forces, acting on the loops (6) are thus transmitted to the handle (2) in a displaced manner relative to the region where they are joined together, and the whisk also offers better hygiene and an improved appearance. <IMAGE>
