PURPOSE:To provide the document preparing device capable of automatically generating 'YOMI' (KANA (Japanese syllabary) giving the pronunciation of a KANJI (Chinese character)) by a user after designating the KANJI to be given an agate. CONSTITUTION:When the range of the KANJI to be given the agate is designated through a keyboard 1 and an input control part 2, an agate control part 3 obtains the 'YOMI' of this KANJI from a converted result storage buffer 8 or gives the KANJI to a KANJI/KANA conversion part 5 and when this KANJI/KANA conversion part 5 obtains 'YOMI' corresponding to the KANJI read from a KANJI/KANA dictionary 7, the obtained 'YOMI' is displayed through a picture display control part 9 on a display 10. |
