PURPOSE:To shorten the processing time for drawing by improving the throughput of the drawing. CONSTITUTION:This drawing processor is equipped with a character generator 1 stored with pattern data such as character patterns and symbol patterns corresponding to code data, an image memory 2 stored with image data, a register file 4 which has memory cells constituted in a matrix and is temporarily stored with character and graphic image data, etc., a read address counter 5 and a write address counter 6 which are dedicated to the register file 4, a reduction conversion part 7 which performs the reduction conversion of the image data from the register file 4, an enlargement conversion part 8 which performs enlargement conversion and an inversion part 9 which performs black- and-white inversion, a mode register 10 where mode conversion for reduction, enlargement, and inversion is set, and a CPU 3 which performs total control. |
