The enamelled wire manufacturing method comprises the steps of: drawing a copper or aluminum wire by a plurality of tandem type drawing machines; annealing the drawn copper or aluminum wire; hardening the wire surface along by passing the annealed wire through a plurality of second drawing machines dies; winding the surface-hardened wire; preheating the surface-hardened wire while releasing it from the winder; coating the wire with conventional enamel. The method enhances the enamelled wire's characteristics, e.g. strength, wire drawing ratio.
