The digital recording/reproducing apparatus combines a disk player and a digital audio tape recorder. The apparatus records the sound of the compact disk on the tape of the DAT recorder. The digital recording/reproducing apparatus comprises a disk reading means for reproducing the digital signal recorded on the disk, a disk/tape recording means for reproducing the signal of the digital audio tape and recording the first digital signal from the disk signal processor (35) on the digital audio tape, a digital signal switching means (36) for switching the signals from the disk player and the tape recorder, a key input means (31), a control means (32) for controlling said means, an analog output means (40- 42), and a display means (44).
