PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device capable of image formation in a photographic mode by means of a relatively simplified circuit without changing the structure of a high voltage transformer. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a charge erasing means 12 for erasing charges on an electrified photosensitive drum and a level altering means 32 for altering the level of input to the charge erasing means 12 in order to alter the charge erasing level. When the photographic mode is set, the charge erasing level of the charge erasing means 12 is altered by the level altering means 32, thereby decreasing the surface potential of the photosensitive drum. |
