<p>PURPOSE:To draw character data at a high speed by processing a dot font by eight dots at a time when there are four color planes. CONSTITUTION:The character data are read in by eight dots at a time first and color information of the character is further obtained. Then an eight-dot data table consisting of 16 colors of four color planes and 256 patterns of eight dots of character data is accessed according to the pieces of information to obtain the drawing data of eight dots. Lastly, the data are written into a backup memory. A series of those processes is repeated until all character strings are written.</p> |
