<p>PURPOSE:To display the remaining amount of a plurality of batteries by a single display device, by providing means for measuring each battery separately and calculating the average, and displaying the result of the calculation. CONSTITUTION:A display circuit 4 makes a single display, not a plurality of displays corresponding to the number of batteries. A comparison table 5 stores the comparison between the measuring voltage of batteries and the remaining amount. In the case where only a single battery is mounted, the measuring voltage becomes high due to the influences from a charging system when a terminal voltage of the other battery is measured. Therefore, this measuring voltage is removed and the display becomes the same as when the voltage of the one battery is displayed. On the other hand, if neither battery is mounted, since both of the measuring voltages become high, it is detected that the batteries are not, set. When both batteries are set, the average of the remaining amount of the batteries is displayed. Accordingly, the operator can detect from the average value if the batteries are necessary to be charged.</p> |
