The present plastic clip is used in particular for the blind mounting of soft-elastic sealing mats on supporting panels. The clip consists of two spreading fingers (1, 1') which can be pushed through a mounting hole (10) in the sealing mat (5), and shank halves (2, 2'), which are integrally formed at right angles and such that they are resistant to bending thereon and which, in the delivery state, project outwards and are connected to one another via a flexible web (4), at the mutually opposite bend edges (3, 3') such that they can pivot. …<??>During installation, the spreading fingers (1, 1'), which rest on one another, are initially inserted into the hole (10) in the sealing mat (5) and are bent outwards by pressing the shank halves (2, 2') together.
