The present invention is in the field of infra-red or electromagnetic decoys for protecting light aircraft or helicopters. It relates more particularly to explosive cartridges and the munition comprising the case receiving the said cartridges. This invention makes it possible, for a same munition volume, to have a larger number of shots and to load the munition simply and rapidly. The cartridge (1) consisting of a sole-piece (2) integral with a casing (3) in which are housed a plurality of assemblies (11) comprising explosive ejection charges (6), explosive-mechanical assemblies (7), ignition charges (8), payload charges (9) and covers (10) is characterised in that the casing (3) is provided with several housings and comprises a locking device (4) at its base. The assemblies (11) are independent and are disposed parallel with each other in different housings of the casing (3); the sole-piece (2) is common to the different housings of the casing (3) and comprises electrical detonators. <IMAGE>
