PURPOSE:To provide a wavelength multiplexed optical switch circuit which has a small number of lasers and the reduced power consumption by providing the switch circuits which secure the connection between plural lasers and each input link and between plural filters and each output link. CONSTITUTION:In regard of the signals which are inputted via the input links 11-11, 11-12, 11-21, 11-22, 11-31 and 11-32, the connection is switched to the tunable lasers 13-11, 13-12, 13-21, 13-22, 13-31 and 13-32 of the laser groups 13-1-13-3 by the input switch circuit 12-1-12-3 which are arranged corresponding to the input groups 11-1-11-3 to which those input links 11-11-11-32 belong respectively. Then the output beams received from each laser and having the different oscillation wavelength bands are multiplexed by a star coupler 14 in terms of the wavelength and then distributed to the filters 15-11, 15-12, 15-21, 15-22, 15-31 and 15-52. Then the switching of connection is carried out by the output switch circuits 16-1-16-3 among those beams which are outputted from the filters in the different wavelength bands. |
