PURPOSE:To correct laser light quantity according to changes of the laser light quantity. CONSTITUTION:A memory 80 where a light quantity table corresponding to preset image density is stored, a calculating means 81 which compares the image formed by a inspection signal with the density read by a CCD3 and with the light quantity table, and a APC83 which monitors a semiconductor laser 6's light quantity at the time when the inspection signal is outputted and corrects the semiconductor laser 6's laser light quantity based upon the calculating means 81's comparison result are provided. |
