PURPOSE:To obtain the liquid crystal display device which assure the preservation of secrecy at the time of using small-sized OA apparatus by allowing display contents to be known only by the specific user. CONSTITUTION:The liquid crystal display device which is operated by a twisted nematic electric field effect mode has an analyzer 16 which detects the plane of polarization of the light past a liquid crystal unit 14 of the device and is constitute as a separate unit from the device. The display contents can be read by mounting this analyzer 16 to the spectacles of the user of the device or as an attachment to the spectacles. |
