<p>PURPOSE:To avoid an operator form touching a fixing part of high temperature by error when jammed paper is eliminated by constituting the post transfer carrying guide plate so that an entrance part of a fixing device is closed in a released state. CONSTITUTION:A toner image being recording information is transferred to recording paper carried through a paper carrying roller 4. After that, the recording paper is guided to the fixing device 6 by the post transfer carrying guide plate 5. Here, the post transfer carrying guide plate 5 is set to a paper carrying state by a release bracket 7 in a normal state. When paper jamming occures in a transfer part, the post transfer carrying guide plate 5 swings to a position displayed by a dotted line around a pin 9 provided on the machine main body side plate by rotating a release lever 8 in the counterclockwise direction. By bringing into this state, a space for paper jamming processing is created, and the jammed paper can be eliminated by pulling it toward operator from the machine main body. Thus, the transfer carrying guide plate 5 functions as a transfer part shutter.</p> |
