PURPOSE:To inform a user with a display means the fact that information of music number is not fallen in the normal order of integers on a digital recording medium by deciding the fact. CONSTITUTION:The digital recording and reproducting device is provided with a digital signal input terminal 2 and an analog output terminal 3, and is constituted of a signal processing device 4 by which errors are corrected, etc., a RF amplifier for signal modulation, a D/A converter 6, and a micro computer 7, etc., by which reproducing is controlled. By the micro computer 7, the function to detect whether or not the music number information is fallrn in the order of integers is activated. That is, the travelling direction of the recording medium is first judged and upon the result (anterior, posterior) of the judgement, each separate process is carried out. |
