PURPOSE:To provide a connector connecting device which can easily connect a connector for a battery of an electric motor vehicle and safely and effectively charge the battery. CONSTITUTION:When an insertion of an external connector 2 to an insertion port 3 is sensed by a position sensor 5, a charging system controller 4 starts a moving motor 7 to move an internal connector 6 to a position to be engaged with the connector 2. When the connection of the connector is sensed, a display lamp 27 is lit, and an energization is started by a command from the controller 4. When the energization is stopped, the controller 4 again starts the motor 7 to move the connector 6 to a position to be disconnected from the connector 2. When the disconnection of the connector is sensed, the lamp 27 is deenergized, and a discharge motor 16 is started to discharge the connector 2. |
