The invention relates to a ski boot in which the insertion of the foot and then the holding of the lower leg are ensured by an upper (2) consisting of a front cover piece (4) and a rear cover piece (3), the latter being articulated on a spindle (5) of a lower shell (1) and locking on the sides of the upper (2) with the aid of a locking device (8) of the type with nesting (interlocking) consisting of a stud (10) and a recess (11). It is characterised in that the projecting element or stud (10) includes combined means of abscissa (A) and ordinate (O) adjustment with respect to the articulation spindle (5) of the upper (2) so as to permit both, respectively, the adjustment of the angle of longitudinal advance and of the transverse inclination or "canting" of the upper with respect to the lower shell (1), the ordinate adjustment (O) being performed in a substantially radial direction (r) with respect to the said spindle (5) between at least two distances, the abscissa adjustment (A) being performed along a trajectory which is substantially perpendicular to the ordinate adjustment (O). <IMAGE>
